Winter is a nice place to visit but I wouldn't want to live here. I can't wait to get back to San Diego.

4? I wouldn't even need my hat and gloves if it was 4!

West 4th Street? Don't lie, you're near NYU

Well, a lot closer than I usually am, that's for sure.

Yea its cold, but we have snow!
How much do you regularly drift w/o wasting tires and the fear of crashing in San Diego? Honestly drifting is the only way I can make it through winter.

I gotta admit, Michigan's winter has really made my shitty last-gen Chrysler 200 rental and freaking BLAST on back country roads on a couple occasions. I never knew <40mph could be so much fun!
Weird thing about snow in MI? Absolutely no snowmen anywhere. When it snows in CA, every yard with a kid has a snowman.

On the commute this morning I carried a super long drift through this looong corner and I probably never went faster than 20mph, lol. So I know what you mean.
That snowman thing is weird though. I guess we all get so much snow we get over that quick …. I can't even remember making one. I know I have, but it was forever ago.

If you noticed, the snow we got is the wrong "kind" for snowmen. It's a very weird mix of a deep layer of very fine powder and ice that leaves it mostly "dry". For snowmen, you need snow with (please science types forgive me) a higher moisture content.

That makes perfect sense, actually. Same reason you can't have a snowball fight in Utah; low humidity and very low temperature.
